Study & Assessment
Students are provided with a subject guide for each unit which includes an outline of each topic, readings, focus points, and questions. Study is completed independently. Regular in-person tutorial sessions are available, though these are designed to facilitate discussion and learning with fellow students; they are not teaching sessions.
An optional written assessment may be completed in person during one of 2 exam periods each year (May and November). Assessments are marked by qualified tutors. Students must apply by 1 December to enter the May exam period and 1 June for the November exam period. A fee is payable for each unit and exam entered.
Awards
The following awards are available:

Men's School Certificate: successful completion of all units in 1 learning area.
Men's School Diploma: successful completion of 8 units in any learning area.

Community events:
Tutorials
Tutorials are facilitated by Men's School using a format designed to promote discussion, clarify key concepts, and help students achieve unit learning outcomes. Note that these are not teaching sessions.
Practical skills
Demonstrations or workshops, plus a social catch-up afterwards.
Public speaking
Our public speaking sessions are a great place to tune-up your presentation skills in front of a captive audience guaranteed to give you a polite clap and some constructive feedback.
Group Exercise
There'll be no hundred-metre race, but we'll bring some kit to throw around. Sessions are generally outdoors with a focus on being fun and social rather than competitive.
Socials
Get to know your fellow members through good conversation and fun activities.
Business & Investment Hub
If your interest is business, investment, or entrepreneurship, this is the place to be. Talk with fellow high-flyers and figure out how to crowd-fund a real-estate purchase, build a business, or just work together on building wealth.
Community Catch-ups
Bring your wife, kids, partner, pet, or friend for networking and wholesome fun at accessible venues.
Afterclass
We'll help you organise a study or discussion group for the topic of your choice.
